Location: Christ Church is situated on Bolton Road (A666) between Pendlebury Road and Fraser Street. Bolton Road is the main road running between Manchester/Salford and Farnworth/Bolton. There is a Tesco Extra minimart and petrol station on the opposite side of Bolton Road from the Pendlebury Road junction. Another landmark is Pendlebury British Legion which is adjacent to Tesco Extra exactly opposite the church.

Transport: Bus number 8 stops on Bolton Road just outside the Church gates. There is a link to Greater Manchester bus information at the foot of this page where timetables etc. are available. The number 484 bus also runs along Bolton Road but this is a Monday to Saturday only service. The curtailed Sunday only 484 service runs between Hope Hospital and Swinton Civic Centre but does not run past the church. A better map and directions can be obtained from Google Map; you may wish to use the link at the bottom of the page. Swinton railway station is about half a mile from the church but it only operates Monday to Saturday and no trains stop at Swinton station on Sundays.
